Urea transshipment

The transshipment facilities allow urea to be taken in both from in-house production units and from other suppliers that send it in special mineral wagons. The Plant railway station can discharge up to 300 mineral wagons per day. Belt conveyors can carry the urea to the storage facilities (two storehouses with a capacity of 40 000 tons each) or directly to the ship-loaders.

There are three ship-loaders of modern design on the quays allowing to load the ships with urea at a rate of 2000 MT/hr.

The ship-loaders and all the conveying lines are fitted with efficient electronic control systems and have dust-suppression equipment minimizing the dust emission from the process of urea transshipment.

The terminal yearly transshipment capacity amounts to 5 000 000 tons.
